 Artproject team >Local to Local< is a project team with six artists from five different countries :

Kestutis Svirnelis (Lithuania), Gabriela Oberkofler (South Tyrol), Ilke Yilmaz (Turkey),

Jangyoung Jung (South Korea), Markus Ambach and Andreas Geisselhardt (Germany).

Through the impact of this  intercultural exchange, exhibition series in five countries are planned by project authors.  

By this way, project authors invite particular artists from their own countries in terms of different site-specific contexts and concepts.

The project formulates fundamental perspective exchanges. In opposition to conventional concentration of art projects in modern metropolises

and their exhibition platforms, it focuses local structures, local characters, scenically emphasized peripheries and peripheral organised living spaces.

It is engaged with spaces, beyond the centers through their special characteristics in terms of examplary and interesting appearance.
